Reap What You Know
Reap What You Know, an agriculture trivia game developed by Aaron and Stacey Pedigo, was featured at the Indiana State Farm Bureau Convention in Indianapolis at this year’s conference. Aaron and Stacey will be representing Indiana at the national conference in Hawaii in January 2012.

“Reap What You Know!” video game, Clinton County, Ind.
“Reap What You Know!” video game players use Wii remote controls to answer agriculture-based trivia questions. The game, created by two board members, has been used at the county fair to educate the general public and in county schools to introduce Farm Bureau to youths.

Ag Day Lunch, March 2011
Clinton County Farm Bureau held an Ag Day luncheon on March 15, 2011, at Bob & David Mohler’s Shop on 2605 West CR 550 North in Frankfort, IN. The luncheon highlighted the upcoming 2012 Farm Bill and how new policies in the bill could affect farm operations. Mrs. Julia Wickard, the Indiana State Executive Director for the Farm Service Agency at the USDA was the keynote speaker for the event and shared her insight into the upcoming bill as well as the current state of affairs for agriculture. Sponsors for the event were the Clinton County Farm Bureau, Inc., Clinton County Extension Service, and the Clinton County Chamber of Commerce.

Food Checkout Day
2011 State Young Farmer Leadership Conference
The Clinton County Young Farmers attended the annual state conference in Indianapolis this past weekend, where Chad Hymas was the keynote speaker. They attended sessions on topics such as farm safety, antibiotic use in livestock, and farm drainage, to name a few. Clinton County was represented by the following eight individuals: (from left to right) Matthew Paris, Crystal Bowles, Julie Thelen, Shelee Padgett, Stacey Pedigo, Aaron Pedigo, Liz Stitzel, and Jim Stitzel.
Legislative Breakfast
On January 8, 2011, members of Clinton County Farm Bureau attended the Chamber of Commerce Legislative Breakfast at Wesley Manor in Frankfort, IN. Senators Boots and Hershman were in attendance as well as Representative VanNatter. Each presented a brief summary of topics and issues for 2011 and responded to a number of questions from those in attendance.
Pre-Legislative Meeting
On December 15, the Clinton County Farm Bureau met with Senator Boots at Main Street Pub in Frankfort, IN, for a pre-legislative lunch.
